nunubaby by Slinky Media is a 'newborns only' photographic service based in Cheshire but covering the whole of the UK. We are highly specialised in newborn photography and know those sleepy smiles, cosy poses and curly fingers and toes inside out! All of our newborn photos are captured within the first 10 days of baby's life. After this time, baby has become used to being out of the womb, so won't curl up naturally into the beautiful poses you see in our newborn photographs. Newborn sleep is more easily disturbed after the first 10 days, and as you'll see from our images, the newborn style suits sleepy, contented babies.

Our newborn photos are generally captured in the comfort of your own home, for the convenience of the new parents. We are more than happy to welcome you to our Wirral based photographic studio if you prefer, though it can be much more comfortable for mum and baby to be in their own home during that special first week together.

Newborn photography to us, means creating individual works of art, intended to celebrate that beautiful time in the life of baby, mum and dad alike. You'll see every glorious detail of your newborn; soft silky skin and hair, tiny fingers and toes. Images with mum or dad show just how tiny baby is during the first week of their life.

Bookings are recommended as early as possible in your pregnancy to assure availability in our calendar. We pop you in the diary for around your due date, then await the arrival of your 'nunu' before confirming the exact date and time of your session. Newborn photography sessions are very much dictated by baby. They can be over in as soon as an hour, or we can be with you much of the day, dependant upon how well baby feeds and sleeps before and during our session.

We have lots of beautiful props and backdrops as you'll see in our images, but if you have any specific ideas, please do let us know before your session. We thrive on originality and love to include personal items to each family in their images. Likewise, we love colour! If you have any particular requests in terms of the colour scheme or theme of your images, please talk it through with us and we'll be happy to incorporate them into the session.

We regularly work with high profile clients and discretion is assured. We are able to travel by appointment anywhere in the UK and occasionally overseas when required.
